Olivia waited in line at the front of the club, of course she was excited to go in pity it was a long wait. She held onto her clutch purse as she finally made it to the front door, she greeted the bouncer with a small hello and showed him her I.D; he gave a nod and opened the door. Olivia entered the club, jumping as the door slammed behind her, she breathed heavily as the smoke got to her, but it would pass soon, she walked further into the club, she looked around and spotted the bar a slight smile appeared on her mouth as she walked towards it, it wasn't until she hit the crowds that she started to worry.
Olivia was stuck tightly in between the a large group of people "Excuse me" Olivia shouted over the music as she tried her hardest to squeeze past the sweaty group of bodies, she finally got through rolling her eyes as she took a deep breath and exhaled softly. She made her way up to the bar and took seat next to a girl and a guy, she smiled at them both before ordering two shots. Olivia rarely got out, but when she did she made sure she made the most of it; when the bartender came back with her shots she thanked him with a nod and sipped the first before sculling it, she did the same with the other, she slowly turned herself to face the dance floor, she couldn't help but tap her hands to the beat, as it sent tingles down her body, she stood and walked down to the dance floor and began dancing by herself, she didn't mind as long as she was having a good time.

she said "don't, don't let it go to your head boys like you are a dime a dozen. boys like you are a dime a dozen. you're a touch overrated. you're a lush and i hate it. but these grass stains on my knees they won't mean a thing."
"Why does all the vodka have to be gone?"
A deep, exasperated sigh came with the words as Kyo tore through his cabinets, looking for the any trace or liquor in his apartment's kitchen. Alas, nothing. With a harsh scowl forming over his face, the tall, lanky boy slammed the cabinet he was currently looking through and stormed out of his kitchen, down the hall, and into his bedroom. While there were several - more like a good fifteen - bottles abandoned on his dressers, not a single one of them contained even a drop of alcohol in them. What a horrible way to start off the night, aye? But all was not hopeless - one of the benefits of being over the age of twenty one in the States was the ability to purchase liquor, and purchase liquor he would. But tonight, of all nights, simply purchasing liquor at the liquor store across the street - a conveniently close location, if you asked him - didn't sound satisfying enough. Not one bit.
Why not kill two stones with one bird....or was it two birds with one stone? Regardless, in his opinion, why not go somewhere he could get as shit faced as he desired, as well as do it in a place that was a bit more entertaining than his too-empty apartment. He couldn't find a reason not to. So, ignoring the increasingly strong urge to test how much of a crash dropping the empty vodka bottles out of his apartment's window would make, Kyo put himself to work on picking out an outfit for the night. Not a hard task for him, if you ask me. It took him only moments to have selected a pair or ripped black skinny jeans that went oh-so perfectly with a strapping black sports jacket, paired with a black wife beater. Nothing too special, but perfect to his sense of fashion. The wife beater was just low cut enough to show the top of his chest piece tattoo, which was more than enough. After grabbing his wallet, cigarettes, and a lighter and shoving them into their own pockets, Kyo was ready to leave. And leave he did.
Without further ado, Kyo exited his apartment, locked the door behind himself, and headed downstairs and out the front door. It only took several moments for him to flag down a taxi - who needed a car of their own in New York City. Not worth the money, if you asked him - money that could otherwise be well spent on booze and other party favors.
Kyo gave a yawn as he directed the taxi driver where to go - to one of the many local night clubs. It took only several minutes to arrive and, when they had, Kyo already had the taxi's fee counted out, which he readily shoved in the driver's direction as he left the cab. "Keep the change," he mumbled, more impatient to get his night started than anything. Without further ado, Kyo walked to the front of the line, flashing a teethy smile to the bouncer. "'Sup bro?" He asked as he patted the larger man on the shoulder as he let Kyo into the nightclub. Plus to being in a band; no wait in lines at clubs.
As Kyo entered the nightclub his eyes strayed to the mass of dancers, several of them catching his eye. But this boy wasn't much of a dancer, not at all. And no matter how intriguing several of the other patrons of the club looked, he was here mainly for one reason. And that reason was exactly what he was heading for. The bar. With a soft smirk, Kyo slid onto one of the bar stools, nodding at the bar tender. "Just give me vodka on the rocks, yeah?" He ordered without hesitation; ordering drinks was never something he did with any difficulty. As the tender was pouring his drink, Kyo slid his hand into his pocket, retrieving his cigarette pack and a lighter. After slipping a cigarette out of the pack, he laid the cardboard container on the bar next to his drink and lit up, inhaling the harsh smoke and washing it down with a gulp of the alcohol. Good times.

Olivia kept her eye on the front door of the club, just in case someone interesting walked through, she looked away as she gazed at the bodies that surrounded her and screwed up her face, they were all dripping with sweat and the view made her shiver. She turned her head to look up at the door, and turned away but quickly turned back as she thought she saw someone from her all time favorite band Vie For a Lie - she knew she was probably seeing things, why would they come here? she shrugged.
Olivia yawned with boredom as she made her way to the side of the dance floor, where she could get a better look at everyone, she gazed around the club, it was too dark to see anyone properly so she made her way back up to the bar. She sat down next to some guy that she didn't really take notice of, she placed her chin of her hand as she waited for a shot, she brushed her hair out off her face and sculled it - giving her a quick buzz but because of her down mood she didn't feel like standing anymore. Olivia sighed, she was bored and ready to leave, she checked her phone for the time and shrugged "Past my bedtime" she giggled slightly before covering her mouth with the back of her hand slightly embarrassed.

Kyo barely made notice of the blonde girl as she sat down next to him; the young adult was too busy focusing on his drink and cigarette. Speaking of his drink, Kyo finished the small glass in a second gulp before nodding his head upwards in a gesture for the bartender to refill his glass. Luckily, the bar more empty compared to the large mass of people that took up the dance floor and it took only moments for his glass to get filled with more vodka. Perfect. Taking his drink in his free hand, Kyo turned on the bar stool so that he could watch the crowd of dancers, just in case someone would catch his eye enough to make him get off his ass and possibly join them...but that was asking for a bit much from him.
Several words from the girl next to him broke his half-hearted gaze on the mass of dancers. Kyo couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as the girl's words were actually taken in. Past her bedtime? The boy cocked his head off to one side as he looked the obviously younger girl up and down. Ahh yes, young she was. But was it really that late? Definitely not in his mind. Giving a bit of a smirk, Kyo looked straight ahead once again, but after gulping down half of his vodka, couldn't hold in a sarcastic remark. "Past your bedtime? What are you...15?" Of course he was over exaggerating, but based on his tone and nearly straight face, he sounded almost serious.

A smirk appeared over her face as the guy spoke, she glanced at him "Maybe" she said with a slight smile, before she finally realized who he was - almost falling out of her chair she tried to calm herself from attacking the guitarist. Olivia took a deep breath and held back her excitement "Y-your Kyo t-the guitarist from vie for a lie!" she almost screamed but stopped herself. She turned her gaze back to the bar as she slowed her breathing, trying to pretend he wasn't there, Olivia had never met anyone from the band before, she was either to late or didn't go to the concert.
Olivia couldn't help but stutter with every word, her voice was starting to get edgy as she tensed is this really happening? she thought to herself as she blinked repeatedly while she faced away from him. She cleared her throat and turned back to him, like her sudden outburst never happened, she shook her head as she quickly gazed around, she bit her lip as she started to get hot this was all too much for her, she needed another drink. She sculled the shot and let out a little hiccup.

Fuck...that was exactly the response from this girl that he didn't want, but had almost grown to expect. A downfall to being in a band, if you asked him. Going out and having a simple conversation with a stranger at a bar rarely ever worked as planned anymore. And this was one of the many reasons he and his band wanted to remain unsigned. Occasionally Kyo wished that his band wore masks like Slipknot; at least then life could mirror at least something that resembled normal.
But, regardless of the dislike of the immediate attention, it also boosted his ego even more, something that he didn't really need. Kyo had to force down a larger smile that he felt growing upon his lips. Instead of allowing it to surface, he simply allowed his smirk to widen slightly before shrugging. "Depends on who's asking," he answered nonchalantly as he took a sip of his strong drink and took a drag of his cigarette. Perfect combination if you asked him - tobacco and vodka. His favorite indulgence.
As Kyo finished his drink, he turned around to face the bar yet again and set his glass down. He flagged down the bar tender by raising his hand in his direction and nodded towards his empty glass. "Thanks," he mumbled as it was filled, bringing the glass to his lips once more just as the blonde girl next to him downed a shot and...hiccuped? That was somewhat cute, if you asked him. Kyo glanced at her again before shrugging to himself and taking yet another drag off his cigarette, ashing it in a pewter dish that was placed on the bar counter.

Olivia looked him up and down as he spoke "Someone unimportant" she watched him drink and smoke his cigarette, he was quite an interesting person to watch. Not wanting to seem rude she moved her gaze to the dance floor where everyone was practically having sex, she rolled her eyes and turned back around.
Olivia's eyes widened at the hiccup that escaped her mouth, but quickly gained her composure back "So.. what brings you to a place like this?" she asked him, like she was talking to a non famous person, she couldn't help but gaze at the strobe lights - the brights colors just called her name, colors like that just seemed to catch her attention at the worst times. Olivia had limitations when it came to go out and drink and such, although she wanted to drink to her hearts content she held back, to stop herself from having a bad hangover and/or ending up in someone elses bed - which would be a huge mistake on her part.

you're a touch overrated. you're a lush and i hate it. but these grass stains on my knees they won't mean a thing.
Kyo raised an eyebrow at the girl; way to come off as confident. Note the sarcasm. "Even unimportant people have names. And seeing as you seem to know who I am, I gotta ask...who're you?"
[/b] Kyo had to give her credit - despite the fact that she seemed to be enough of a fan of his band to be able to pick him out of a crowd, she was doing a pretty darn good job of containing her excitement. Props to her for that. It was a relief to him that maybe, just maybe, he'd be able to have a normal night. Kyo gave a shrug in response to her question, holding off on answering for a moment or two while he downed yet another drink. He was starting to feel a little buzzed - despite his high tolerance for alcohol, vodka did eventually get to him. At least a little. Kyo was a bit of an alcoholic - something he'd never admit - so it would take him at least three or four more drinks before he got anything more than a buzz. Something he planned on achieving tonight, mind you. The boy had his glass refilled before bothering to respond to this girl's question. "Boredom...among other reasons." He said with yet another shrug. No need for him to give an in-depth response, especially not about how he felt the need to pass the night away by getting extremely inebriated...that is, if his night went the way he wanted it to. "And what made you stay out past your bedtime, kid?" He teased with a light grin settled over his lips. [/blockquote][/blockquote] word count 272 lyrics taking back sunday status finished [/size]

Olivia smiled and nodded "I suppose.." she glanced around and bit her lip "Olivia." she said with a nod, she looked at the floor it some what amused her in a weird way, maybe because she could see her own reflection? she raised an eyebrow and made a funny face but quickly stopped when she remembered where she was.
Olivia smiled slightly, bored? even celebrities get bored? it was fascinating to find such information out, she wasn't the only one that gets bored on nights like these. She couldn't help but giggle, but quickly stopped and cleared her throat "Well.. I haven't spotted my mum yet so I should be right." she said sarcastically with a slight smile, she knew it sounded lame - way to embarrass yourself, she thought in her head; Olivia felt like slapping herself for acting like a complete idiot but then again she always acted like this.
Olivia looked at the other girls that were on the dance floor "Aren't you lucky that they haven't noticed you yet?" she smirked, screwing her face up a bit at the sweat that was practically dripping off of them - she was so glad she wasn't sweating like a crazy wild animal, she looked down at herself and shivered at the thought of being drenched in sweat.
